Australian team is looking all set for a wonderful display of cricket in Border Gavaskar Trophy against India. But Australian coach Tim Neilson is yet worried. Mike Hussey and Doug Bollinger are the main Causes of it. Both of them are busy in playing for Indian Franchise in CLT T20 2010 that is being held in South Africa. Hussey and Bollinger are playing under the captaincy of Indian skipper Mahender Singh Dhoni. You must be wondering that if some player is playing under the leadership of Indian skipper so what is there to worry about. So fans Australian coach Tim Neilson is worried because Mike Hussey and Doug Bollinger are the part of the Australia Squad declared for Border Gavaskar Trophy against India. Tim Neilson says that I have been trying to work out a plan in order to provide rest to these players before the series begins. Both of them are the part of Chennai Super Kings that is in the semifinal of the Champions League T20 2010. In order to provide rest to them I asked them to loose the match so that they can arrive in India and take some rest after the grueling journey of 11 hours. Both of them are integral and indispensible part of our team. So we can let them get fatigued or injured before such a paramount series against one of the most dominating sides like India. So we want both of them to be fresh and safe for Border Gavaskar Test Series against India. |
| ‘Aise Karo Na Vida’ to end on October 1st Posted: 24 Sep 2010 07:31 AM PDT  Aise Karo Na Vida DJ’s Creative Unit’s 'Aise Karo Na Vida' on Colors is going off air on October 1st. The decision comes as a surprise after the show had recently pulled off impressive ratings. The soap revolved around the story of a lively and attractive girl Reva, played by Aastha Chaoudhary. However, the show shall have a happy ending. As per the sources, the creators have decided to end the story with on a positive note as Aastha goes back to Yash, played by Anas Rashid. Rohit Purohit's character Aryaman too turns good after he realizes his wrongs. The source also confirmed that no on would be shown as dead in the end. The lead actress Aastha Chaoudhary too confirmed the news, but she appeared quite unhappy regarding its abrupt end. She added that no one had expected that the show would have to be wound up so soon as it had been doing pretty well. She however seemed satisfied that it shall have a happy finale. Sources say that the last day of the shoot is reportedly September 29th. |

 Karool Bagh 12/24 Karol Bagh aired on Zee TV shall soon enter into some unexpected twists and turns if sources are to be believed. It seems Simi, played by Smriti Kalra is planning to get her husband Abhi remarried. Simi and mother Manju are forced to approach a baba with Abhi's horoscope after he meets with a string of life threatening accidents. The baba tells them that Abhi will die within the next thirty days and the onle way to get out of the tragedy is to get him rewedded. Though Simi at first is hesitant to believe this, but another major accident changes her perception. She finally decides to make Abhi remarry to ward off the danger. As per the sources, Rajjo played by Resham Thakkar will be Abhi's to be wife. Simi's sister Neetu at the same time is in a personal crisis after the former advises her to hand over her baby to Anita. Neetu later decides to give away her new born after realising the grief of Anita who had given birth to a still born child. However, when Neetu's husband Omi happens to know about this he gets angry that Neetu did not consult him before going for such a crucial decision. Neetu calms down Omi, who always had remained considerate and sensible towards his wife. |

 Madhuri Dixit Jhalak Dhikhhla Jaa is getting ready for its fifth season ands speculations are rife that yesteryear's Bollywood diva and dancing queen Madhuri Dixit may make a special appearance in the show. The organizers are trying hard to get Madhuri's consent to be a part of Jhalak Dhikhhla Jaa. Madhuri had made her Bollywood comeback with 'Aaja Nachle', portarying the role of a dancer trying to revive her dying dance school in India. She displayed her outstanding dancing skills in the movie though the musical film bombed at the box office. The organisers of Jhalak Dhikhhla Jaa are now persuading Madhuri to make a television appearance and once again thrill the fans with her dancing prowess. It is reported that the negotiations are being carried out with the actress who resides in the United States. Hrithik Roshan the super dude of Bollywood is going to essay a critical role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next flick titled Guzaarish. Hrithik's character Ethan is that of a magician who is suffering with the condition of paraplegia that is a kind of paralysis after he meets with a spinal injury. Opposite to him is the beautiful Aishwarya Rai who plays the part of a beautiful nurse and a married woman who develops a kind of feeling for Ethan. The movie also has another important issue and that is mercy killing, wherein Ethan's life needs to get a proper end. The story of this flick is pretty much unofficially inspired from the flick of Hollywood 'Prestige' that has influenced the director a lot. The character of Aishwarya has a lot of negative shades that stay on for the entire flick while Hrithik Roshan has put up a whole new look for the flick.  Guzarish Movie Insider sources revealed that Hrithik would devote endless hours practicing his part on a wheelchair around his house and the promos have already revealed that the part of Hrithiks character is fabulous. There are also some intimate sequences in the flick with a sexy second half of Ethan. The movie Guzaarish is very important for Aishwarya as well as Hrithik. For Hrithik his previous release did not work well at the box office and hence was a whole lot of disaster in itself and something pretty similar goes with Aishwarya who did not make much hay with her previous release Ravan. |

Star Plus is coming up with a new show named 'Master Chef India', hosted by none other than Bollywood's action hero Akshay Kumar. The show is based on FOX Television network's USA Master Chef. Following the same format, the show will present interesting and challenging tasks to the contestants aspiring to become India's No.1 Chef. The USA version included several high demanding tasks like cooking for U.S. marines and bulk catering. 'Master Chef India' also plans to come up with various challenges for the cooks to test their capabilities. At times the participants will be given surprise boxes containing some random ingredients with which they have to prepare a dish. 'Master Chef' show has earned world wide popularity and boasts of Australian, UK and New Zealand versions as well. Apart from the cooking skills, the contestants will also be judged for their knowledge and presentation of the dishes. Complete knowledge about food inside as well as outside the kitchen is also required to excel in this show. Participation guidelines have been specified by the organizers of the show. The contestants should not have any experience in the food industry but should have cooking as a hobby. The final winner will be designated as the best cook in the country. Akshay Kumar is banking upon his experience as well to take up the anchoring challenge. He had started off his career as a chef in Bangkok some time ago. He expressed his excitement his hosting as well as judging the show. Chef Ajay and Chef Kunal wil be the other two judges of 'Master Chef India'. |
| Jamuna Devi, Congress Leader of Opposition in MP dies at 81 Posted: 24 Sep 2010 03:47 AM PDT  Jamuna Devi Madhya Pradesh Assembly opposition leader Jamuna Devi died on Friday morning at the age of 81. The veteran Congress leader was elected to the assembly for the sixth time in 2008. She served as the leader of opposition from 2003-08 and in 2008, had taken up her second stint. Born in 1929 in the tribal district of Dhar, she was part of the first assembly of the Madhya Bharat State (1952-57). She was elected to the Lok Sabha in 1962 from Jhabua constituency. She was also Rajya Sabha member during the period 1978-81. In 1985, Jamuna Devi was elected to the assembly following which she was made the Minister of State (Independent Charge) in the Cabinet. In 1993, she became a Cabinet Minister in the State after the elections. Post a third victory at the assembly polls in 1998, Jamuna Devi was named as the first woman Deputy Chief Minister. However, in 2003, after Congress party lost the polls, she was chosen as the opposition leader post her fifth win at the elections. The position continued after the 2008 elections as well, when she won for the sixth time. She has also been a part of the Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) and the All India Congress Committee (AICC).Her death occurred at a hospital in Indore. She is survived by a brother, daughter and a nephew. |

Tilak has departed the after taking ill for some time now. His breathed his last on Sept. 23rd and is grieved by friends and family. The 84 year-old producer made influential cinema and is credited for bringing many new and talented faces in the forefront. The actors like Jayaprada in Bhumikosam were quite young when Tilak realized their potential and cast them in his movies. Many technicians also found favor with him and got much recognition. The two hindi films he made were Choti Bahu and Kangan both garnered good reviews and audience appreciation and even after so many years they remain imprinted on the minds of the viewers for the very social issues that are tackled in them. His best Telugu movies are Muddu Bidda, MLA, Atta Oka Inti Kodalay, Chitti Tammudu, Bhomi Kosam and Dharmavaddi. With MLA he introduced the renowned singer S Janaki. In Marathi he made Dharmapatni and Maamiyaarum Oru Veetu Marumgaley is his contribution to the Tamil cinema. Thus he showed his varied and keen interest in making and producing movies across the barriers of languages and states. His contribution to all these regional and national films will always be remembered. He was born in 1926 in West Godavari district of the now Andhra Pradesh and has ably influenced the audience with meaningful cinema dealing with influential topics and social issues. K. B.  i10 Hyundai Motor India Limited has come up with the all new i10, one of best selling cars in its segment. The Next Gen i10 will be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show shortly. The car was first introduced in India in 2007. According to Hyundai, the second largest car manufacturer in India, about seven lakh i10s have been sold since then, and continues to dominate the exports. The ex-showroom Delhi price of the new model lies between Rs.3.49 lakh to Rs.5.91 lakh. The car will be available two petrol engine variants. The 1.1 litre engine boasts of a mileage of 19.81 km, while 1.2 litre variant claims 20.86 km per litre. The new vehicle has received a face lift in the design, both at the interior and exterior levels. The design looks similar to that of the ix35 SUV, also known as the Tucson. The tail lamps and bumpers have undergone changes and the interior also has received renovation. The engines also come with lower a CO2 emission that is 99g/km. The power and torque have also been improved for the new i10. H.W. Park, managing director and chief executive of Hyundai Motors said that the car has been enhanced with more safety, comfort and technological features. |
| Endhiran backed by Rajinikanth film festival Posted: 24 Sep 2010 02:05 AM PDT  Enthiran As one of the highest paid film actors, the Endhiran lead hero Rajinikanth needs no particular introduction. Always in limelight for his extensive fan following and public appeal Rajinikanth has won more hearts than money. From his debut role in Apoorva Raagangal in1975 to mega buster Endhiran the journey of Rajinikanth has always been that of an influential superstar who has not just marked his presence down south but over the entire Indian film industry. His latest film Endhiran is slated for a release on the 1st of October and with this the AGS cinemas are organizing a tribute to the star that will begin from the 24th of September. This tribute will be in the form of a film festival that will be put up for a period of seven days and will come to an end on the 30th of September. The inauguration of this fest will be done by Sun Pictures Hansraj Saxena along with the Endhiran trailer screening at the event. | Anjaana Anjaani Release Date to remain the same Posted: 24 Sep 2010 01:07 AM PDT  Anjaana Anjaani In the light of the Ayodha verdict that was to be given out today, Anjaana Anjaani producer Sajid Nadiawala postponed the release date to the 1st of October. The verdict D day has been extended to the 28th of September but the Sajid Nadiawala will stick to the date that he has mentioned and will not change it any further. Anjaana Anjaani will release alongside The Robot and will face a tough competition because of this. Also the other movies that are lined up for release will not alter the release dates to any further or before. Aakrosh a movie by Priyadarshan dealing with the social issue of honor killing will hit theatres on the 8th of October as the release date was furthered on by the makers. Also Khichdi by J D Majethia will hit screens along with The Robot and Anjaana Anjaani on the 1st of October. So it seems that the 1st of October is stocked up with mega movies making it all the more complex to achieve box office profits and all the more easier for Dabangg to enjoy single harmony at the box office for an extended period of time. The socio-political havoc was countered by the B town celebs that united as one to spread the message of unity and harmony in Mumbai.  Guzaarish Sanjay Leela Bhansali makes a stunning comeback with his new film on the block, Guzaarish with a starry cast of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan as the lead actors. The duo has previously worked together in films like Dhoom2 and Jodha Akhbar wherein their pairing was immensely appreciated and similar can be expected from Guzaarish as well. The story of the movie revolves around the relations of a wheel chair ridden patient and his married nurse. Hrithik essays the part of Ethan, a man who is quadriplegic and is confined to his wheelchair after he met with a motor and sensory function impairment of his limbs. Previous to this happening Ethan was a successful magician and due to this role Hrithik also learned an act or two of magic from a Ukrainian magician who guided him about magic. Aishwarya essays the role of a beautiful nurse who is married. The bond that the two gradually develop forms the main centralization of the film. The official trailer of the film is out and is sure to break records because of the intense performance that the two actors have delivered. Sanjay Leela Bhansali has previously too worked on films that focus on human handicap ness and the subsequent win over that impairment. The trailer begins with Hrithik on his wheel chair and then comes recaps and short glimpses of the two actors together wherein Aishwarya is seen in a plain look.
