Nokia Sells 4 Million N8’s In Q4

According to a Finnish website – Inderes – Nokia has apparently managed to ship around 3.5million to 4 million N8 in Q4 of this year. Inderes has based its statistics on a variety of factors which include the general popularity of the handset, recruitment and N8's chip manufacturer's instruction etcetera.

This piece of news has not been officially confirmed by Nokia itself, so readers should take this news with a pinch of salt.

The report also suggests that the Nokia N8 has met with overwhelming success in the Indian market along with UAE and Malaysia. The report also predicts that the N8 has managed to outsell the highly popular Android phone – the Samsung Galaxy S – in Q4 of this year. These stats must be coming as a shocker for many people since the N8 has been criticized in many reviews online.

No wonder Nokia still sells the most number of smartphones all over the world and Symbian still is the leading mobile OS.

Katrina Kaif was saved from groping fans by Akshay Kumar at the promotional event of their film Tees Maar Khan.

The fans at R City Mall in Gatkopar got a little too excited upon seeing Katrina Kaif at the event. The actress, dressed in black, was literally mobbed by the enthusiastic fans who even extended their hands to touch her. But Akshay, being the gentleman that he is, came to her rescue.

He put his arms around Katrina from behind and led her through the mob.

India won 2nd test match against South Africa – Laxman man of the match

India has levelled the series 1-1 after winning the 2nd test match against home team South Africa. India successfully defended the set target of 303 runs.

VVS Laxman was declared man of the match who scored 96 in the second innings and was the highest scorer for Indian side in both the innings.

India scored 205 and 228 runs while South Africa succumbed to chase the target and only made 131 and 215 runs in the 2nd innings.

From Indian side, Sreesanth and Zaheer Khan took 3 wickets followed by Bhajji who claimed two wickets. One wicket by Ishant and the final wicket of Tsotsobe – a runout by Pujara.

The first and deciding wicket of 4th day was taken by Sreesanth in form of Kallis on one of the superb delivery in this test series.
