Varun Gandhi is now ready to try marital life after his successful political one. The 30yr old BJP national secretary and Member of Parliament from Pilibhit Lok Sabha constituency is going to marry a Bengali girl, Yamini this year.

His mother, the animal rights activist and MP from Aonla parliamentary constituency, Menaka Gandhi broke the news to reporters today. The estranged daughter-in-law of late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, said-"Varun will get married with Yamini, who hails from Bengal, in 2010 itself. All members of the Gandhi family including Sonia Gandhi and Rahul will be invited to attend the marriage function,”

After sharing a strained relation with the Gandhi family, Menaka Gandhi's announcement that Sonia Gandhi will also be invited to the wedding can be seen as a welcome gesture that the two families will finally come together.

Earlier in 1997 Menaka had not attended Priyanka's marriage although a teenaged Varun was present at the ceremony. Meanwhile his cousin Rahul Gandhi is still avoiding all questions relating to his marital plans. The young leader is busy with the consolidating the Youth Wing of the Congress Party.

However his recent Ayodhya comments had managed to make the headlines for the wrong reasons. There have been no comments from the other side yet regarding Menaka's announcement to invite Sonia Gandhi to the wedding of Varun. Hopefully the wedding this year will see the two powerful families coming to together to bless the newly-weds.

The 'Bom Sabado' worm which had hacked through millions of Orkut accounts is now removed by Google. Google released a statement in their blog which notified all users that the worm Bom Sabado has been dealt with & Orkut is safe for now.

"Hi all,

This is to inform you all that we've contained the "Bom Sabado" virus and have identified the bug that allowed this and have fixed it.

We're currently working on restoring the affected profiles.

Thanks a ton to each of you who's made an effort to alert everyone else about this. I'll make sure to keep you guys posted on more updates"

The worm Bom Sabado which has a very ironic translation into Portuguese meaning 'Good Saturday' had affected the social networking site Orkut on Saturday 25th September. The worm did nothing like post malicious links, rather it just left scraps from the infected account to every friend's scrapbook.

The scrap read simply 'Bom Sabado'. So the unwary users just viewed the scraps & then the worm affected their cache memory leaving them infected.

Google had asked the Orkut users to not login for a while and refresh their browser cookies & cache. It was also advisable to change the password and the security question as well.

Many users were however unfortunate enough to be online when the Bom Sabado worm attacked leaving their accounts hacked. Google has promised to look into this matter and try and fix the hacked profiles in Orkut.

Wikipedia Makes an Indian Home

Wikipedia the most popular site second only to Google, is here in India now. The founders have already announced their decision to have a special Indian office in one of the metros of India soon. This is to be followed after the Wiki Foundation's India Chapter launch in the Silicon Valley i.e. Bangalore.

Wikimedia Foundation Chief Global Development Officer Barry Newstead made the welcome announcement today. Wikipedia is very popular when it comes to information on various subjects. Although not always guaranteed to be valid information, the site sees a monthly traffic of nearly 375 million users.

A large no. of them being Indians, the founders have decided it's about time they catered to this sub continent.  As for now there are no plans of setting up a server here. The main server of Wikimedia resides in the US & the Indian office will only have caching centre i.e. a temporary storage area for faster browsing of the site.

However the location of the yet to be built office hasn't been decided upon, the choices include Mumbai, Delhi or Bangalore. For handling this new project the chief global development officer of Wikimedia, Barry Newstead is here. He will be selecting a national programme director to look after the Wikipedia network in  India as well as choose the best city to have the office in.

Newstead was formerly an employee of the Boston Consultancy Group  but in pursuit of his liking for education and knowledge he left it to join the executive management team of Wikimedia. "I always have a passion for education and knowledge, and hence my decision to make a career working on social issues," is how Newstead described his career change.

About setting up an office in India, the Wikimedia group has caught up with the fact that a huge percent of Wikimedians are from India. With almost 80 million internet users already active in India, its no surprise that Wikimedia will open an office here. "We are planning to work with the community to spread the word about Wikimedia's work with the goal of enabling millions more Indians to contribute to and benefit from Wikimedia's free knowledge projects," Newstead said.

The site will focus more on the Indian content once the office is launched. On their special decision, Newstead said, "India is important to us, as it's the fourth-largest country in terms of Internet users with about 80 million users and is projected to touch 150 million in the next five years. Also, there is a very vibrant Wiki network here."

Expert's state that the reasons behind this age drop and extension of the number of affected is directly connected to the increasing stress levels, sedentary way of life, overtly hectic routines, injurious habits like smoking and drinking and also the absence of proper physical activity. Another point that the experts revealed was the fact that Indian diet is rich in fat and also people resort to fast food resulting to unbalanced diets.

Countering the heart troubles can be done through an effective routine that involves proper exercise and a more balanced food intake. The Escort Hospitals senior cardiologist, DR Praveer Agarwal cited that stress is the most basic reason for this suffering and hence people should spare some time to carry out practices like yoga, meditation, deep breathing to relieve stress and live happily.

Neglect is also the key reason for the budding up of these diseases as an increasing number of young people feel that cardiac ailments are a thing of the old and never undertake check ups. Hence this neglect later gives way to even more critical conditions.
