Ayodhya Verdict: What would be the likely impact of Babri Masjid verdict?

The verdict on the Ayodhya Ramjanmabhoomi-Babri Masjid had been deferred by the Supreme Court to September 28 and most likely it will again get postponed to another date.

The delay ahs led to widespread disappointment for those looking for a judicial decision on India's largest Hindu-Muslim dispute ever.

The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court was scheduled to pronounce the verdict on September 24th which later got deferred to 28th.

The case examines the various claims to the disputed land projected as the Ram Janmabhoomi by Hindus and the site of Babri Masjid by the Muslims. The issue took the turn when in 1992 Hindu hardliners destroyed the 4oo years old Babri Masjid in Ayodhya.

Supported by politics, the event led to widespread communal clashes that claimed more than 2000 lives across the country. Several questions surrounding the issue would have received a judicial interpretation if the ruling was pronounced. The Congress seemingly wanted a delay in the verdict to play it safe ahead of the CWG and Obama visit.

However, now the point is whatever the verdict is will its effect be as hard as it would have been two decades ago? Most of the observers feel it won't be so immense and intense. They feel that the nation has moved forward from the mindset during the nineties.

Everyone is looking at peace and development instead of dividing themselves along religion and caste. Political parties too are in no mood to take up any risks following a polarization. However, some are still expected to play dirty politics to secure vote banks. But everything will ultimately depend upon how the citizens react to the verdict.

Its time to cut the cake for Search Engine giant Google which is happily celebrating its 12th Google birthday anniversary today that is the 27th of September with a new doodle. This special Google doodle has a yummy cake on the home page which has been designed by Wayne Thiebaud an 89 year old artist at Los Angeles.

Google was incorporated as a private organization in the year 1998 on the 27th of September. The very step for a search engine named Google was initiated by Larry Page and Sergey Brin in the year 1996, the two originally named it as Back Rub because of the back link processes and eventually they named it as Google.

This birthday cake with a candle is not animated like some other doodles Google came up with specially the latest animated doodle Bucky Ball that was put up marking the 25th anniversary of carbon molecules design. The cake has Google written over it with the candle representing the letter L of Google.

The painting of Wayne Thiebaud was incorporated onto the homepage with the special permission of VAGA New York that is the Visual Artists and Galleries Association. Wayne has painted many cake designs between the span of 1950'to 1960's which are exhibited at various exhibitions.

The 12 year journey for this leading search engine has been solely eventful with the internalization of many new attributes that are directed to provide better services and user friendly synthesis of every related function like news, images, maps, books, and other social networking options.
