Shillong Chamber Choir was announced as the winners of India's Got Talent Khoj 2. But the most surprising thing to see on the show was the ranking of the participants when the public votes came out. The result were just opposite to the judges choices. Teji Toko and Veer Khalsa group were among the least points given by judges but they surprisingly were in top three. Teji Toko was announced as 1st runner up, while Veer Khalsa group were at the 2nd runner up position. The most favorite groups Fictitious Group, Diwakar and Sonia, Sonjoy Mondol Group and Harihar Dash were not even in top 3. So finally it was Shillong Chamber Choir who got the prize money of 50 lacs. Ranbir Kapoor – Priyanka Chopra starrer movie Anjaana Anjaani is the 1st major Hindi movie to be released in three weeks since Dabangg. The love story is directed by Siddharth Anand. As per latest report, the movie has occupied 75-100 percent at many multiplexes in urban multiplexes like Mumbai, Delhi & Kolkata. In southern cities like Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai & other areas, the movie didn't get enthusiastic response. Its reason is Rajinikanth's Endhiran movie. The movie Robot pulled most of the crowd in south. Anjaana Anjaani got mixed responses from critics as for some it is a finely crafted romantic picture, while for some others it is a senseless mushy drama. Its collection also likely to increase in northern regions because of good reviews. Anjaana Anjaani has tough competition with the movie Robot that has been produced in 3 languages. |
| Khichdi impresses Modi; Wants its sequel Posted: 02 Oct 2010 10:01 AM PDT  Khichdi- The Movie 'Khichdi- The Movie' has made overwhelm to a big politician Narendra Modi – Gujarat CM. The movie was released yesterday on this Friday. Narendra Modi watched the film in a special screening before release. He was overwhelmed by the movie. He said to produce a sequel of this comedy movie. The team of the movie was present for the special screening for Modi. CM praised so much to the team. He appreciates their effortless acting skills. CM Narendra Modi said that it was the 1st time in the history of Bollywood that a TV serial has been turned into a full-fledged film. In addition he said that after seeing the film he can state that the picture is light like a 'Khichdi'. He said Khichdi is full of joy and humor. The movie team is very positive about its success. The team said that their aim is to make everybody chuckle. The Producer of Khichdi JD. Majethia said that the movie presents a comedy about a Gujarati family but with a worldwide appeal. | Endhiran opens big, full house! Posted: 02 Oct 2010 05:34 AM PDT  Endhiran Endhiran has made a huge opening on box office. People are flocking in for a 5 am show just because tickets for an earlier show are not available. On the first day of release, the first show craze was in full swing as fans stood in queues in Chennai even before daybreak to get the tickets of this Rajnikanth starrer sci-fi flick. As the city began screening the film, theatres were jammed with masses of people lining up to secure their tickets. Tickets were definitely hard to come by as everyone seems just as excited to see the movie. First shows made an early start at 4 am in cinemas like Rakki in Ambattur. Others started 'late' at 5:45 am such as the AGS in Villivakkam. In spite of these crazy show timings, fans just cannot get enough. The black marketers chose to make a buck or two as well and sold tickets at up to Rs. 5000 each. Even Inox theatres that started the show at 8 am were flocked. Endhiran is making news all over the country and not just South. Apart from South Indian theatres, the movie made a hit start even in Mumbai. Thousands of fans of Rajnikanth queued up at the Aurora theatre for prints of the movie. It is set to set new records for the Indian cinema. An analyst is reported to have given the figure 200 crore mark, that Sivaji made, saying Robot will cross that. Fans in theatres are calling themselves Robot friends, for instance a group of insurance surveyors in Chennai. Can the magic of Endhiran be any more than this? |

His contribution is immense in getting independence. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi pronounced was born on 2 October 1869. His birthday is celebrated as Gandhi Jayanti and it is the national holiday in India. He was a pre-eminent political and spiritual leader in the Struggle for Indian Independence. He is the Father of the Nation. Non-Violence was the main weapon for his movements. His inspired movements are Salt Satyagraha, World War II and Quit India, Civil rights movement in South Africa and many others. His time period was 2 October 1869 – 30 January 1948. Gandhi was first worked as civil disobedience and had worked as an expatriate lawyer in South Africa. He wrote articles for about black people there for Indian News. Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram was the favorite Bhajan of Mahatma Gandhi. The Bhajan is also called as Ram Dhun. The bhajan was sung by Mahatma Gandhi and his followers during walk of 241 mile for Salt March to Dandi in 1930. He was a very simple person and ate simple vegetarian food. He undertook long fasts for self-purification and social protest. His role for independence can not be explained as he gave his contribution in every movement of Independence. Superstar Rajnikanth’s Endhiran got good response from the fans. The collection of the movie was huge at its first day. However, the exact first day earning is not announced but the movie was released in packed houses. The robot based movie released in 2,250 prints. It is expected that the movie is going to be biggest hit ever and is also ready to break all records at the Bollywood box office. The expectation for the movie business is around Rs 400-Rs 450 in first month. Rs 190 crore was the cost of expenditure for the movie. Rajnikant and Aish starrer movie Endhiran has been made in 3 languages i.e. Tamil, Hindi & Telugu. |
India's Got Talent Khoj 2 got its winner tonight. The outcome was really surprising for most of the people and judges too.
