Ladies and Gentlemen: Gear up as the first TEDx Event is coming to Islamabad on Dec 4, 2010 and it's going to be an evening all about technology, entertainment, design, art, creativity, innovation and inspiration.

If you have been living under a rock and don't know what TED is, it basically is an international forum that celebrates innovative and ground-breaking ideas and believes in spreading them across global audiences. TEDx is a world-renowned event that has been organized in over 80 countries to date.

TEDxMargalla feels honored to bring the TED flag to Islamabad, for the first time. The aim of the event is to share the ideas of our Pakistani laureates, scholars and intellectuals with the local and international community. Our TEDxMargalla event is not organized by TED Conferences, but is operated under a license from TED.

After conquering and stimulating the audiences' minds in TEDxKarachi, TEDxLahore, and TEDxRavi, TEDx comes to Islamabad with another event, under the banner of TEDxMargalla, wishing to celebrate the ideas that promise to make a difference.
