India vs Australia hockey match live streaming CWG hockey finals at indiatimes

India rose from the dead and make their much needed comeback at the second semifinals of hockey match at Commonwealth today in Dhyan Chand Stadium.


They defeated England 5-4 in the penalty shoot and thus reserved a birth on the fianls of CWG games 2010. They will meet against the world champions Australia in XIX Commonwealth Games 2010.

Earlier in previous match, India has already lost in pool stages by 2-5. Both teams will be seen again at the grand finale of this most sought event of Commonwealth games 2010.

In the match of India vs England today in semis, both teams were on level at 3-3 goals. Then came 15 minutes, 15 minutes of extra time also failed to decide the winner in this crucial clash.

From Indian side, goal makers were Sarvanjit Singh, Vikram Pillay, Sandeep Singh, Arjun Halappa and Shivendra Singh, Bharat Chetri also did a significant job by saving a goal in penalty shoot out. \
