Plot:
Voldemort’s power is growing stronger. He now has control over the Ministry of Magic and Hogwarts. This one wastes no time getting right to things, story wise…. we start out with a confused grisly attack by the mutants on some poor group of survivors… as a badly injured woman makes her staggering getaway while the beasties chow down on her less fortunate companions. After a stumbling chase through the forest, she breaks out onto a deserted highway….. just in time to be splattered into gooey cherry jello all over the front of a speeding ambulance! Ouch!!
Luke welcomes his friend Matt and his girlfriend Suzie that come from London and Matt’s sister and Luke’s former girlfriend Kate that comes from Sydney to sail with him and the sailor Warren in a sailboat. However, the vessel hits an underwater rock and capsizes with an opening on her bottom. Luke advises that they should swim in the north direction to reach the Turtle Island, in Queensland, Australia, while they have strength since there is a current moving the boat in the opposite direction of land but Warren prefers to stay on the hull waiting for help since there are sharks in the water. The quartet swims, but they are hunted by a great white shark.
Samuel Axel (Steven Seagal) is an Interpol Agent assigned to a task force in Eastern Europe. His target is those that traffic guns and dope throughout the Balkans. When an investigation puts him on the trail of a Russian gun dealer he learns how deadly life in Eastern Europe can truly be. With an absent father and a withdrawn and depressed mother, 17 year-old Ree Dolly keeps her family together in a dirt poor rural area. She’s taken aback however when the local Sheriff tells her that her father put up their house as collateral for his bail and unless he shows up for his trial in a week’s time, they will lose it all. She knows her father is involved in the local drug trade and manufactures crystal meth but anywhere she goes the message is the same: stay out of it and stop poking your nose in other people’s business. She refuses to listen, even after her father’s brother, Teardrop, tells her he’s probably been killed. She pushes on, putting her own life in danger, for the sake of her family until the truth, or enough of it, is revealed.
Parole officer Jack Mabry (Robert De Niro) has only a few weeks left before retirement and wishes to finish out the cases he’s been assigned. One such case is that of Gerald “Stone” Creeson (Edward Norton), a convicted arsonist who is up for parole. Jack is initially reluctant to indulge Stone in the coarse banter he wishes to pursue and feels little sympathy for the prisoner’s pleads for an early release. Seeing little hope in convincing Jack himself, Stone arranges for his wife Lucetta (Milla Jovovich) to seduce the officer, but motives and intentions steadily blur amidst the passions and buried secrets of the corrupted players in this deadly game of deception.

A group of high school students are sent to after-school Detention for unexplained reasons. There, the teenagers find themselves abandoned and locked in the classroom after their detention teacher leaves, then mysteriously disappears. With night slowly approaching, a thunder storm builds outside. The heavy rain and lightning causes a massive power failure throwing the school into total darkness.
