George and Joan, Thinking Out Loud About What Makes a Library a Library

Posted: 15 Dec 2010 12:58 PM PST

podcastThis podcast idea came about as a result of consulting work George and Joan recently did in Northern California. The library system they were working with was at risk of closure due to county budget issues. As they worked, George and Joan started to ponder what services MUST remain for a library to still be a library. What do you think? If you have thoughts to share after listening, email them to hello@georgeandjoan.com or comment below. Oh, and here’s a link to the report they mention in the podcast: http://bit.ly/d7DBzf (this links to a PDF file).
