A lot of our weather this winter has come from the Arctic and Scandinavia hence the snow and ice but this week it's back to normal. It was a cold start this morning with some frost and icy patches but the weather pattern is now on the change. The jet stream is going to move north towards Britain over the next few days, so it will turn milder but wet and windy at times with south-westerly...

Nature can be cruel but a bird's got to eat and unfortunately for this heron, starling was on the menu at the WWT National Wetland Centre Wales, Llanelli yesterday. RSPB celebrates 100 years in Wales

This year the RSPB celebrates100 years of working in Wales and has come a long way since its humble beginnings.
