Groupon Daily Deals: (12/17/2010) You Bar, Nutty Guys, Joe’s Coffee House, Fancy Fortune Cookie + More

Posted: 17 Dec 2010 06:53 AM PST

Here are a few of my favorite national Groupon deals for today. All deals listed below are available to anyone – regardless of where you live, unless otherwise noted.

In Columbus you can get $35 worth of desserts from Fancy Fortune Cookie for just $15.

In Portland you can get $40 worth of coffee-infused hair, bath and beauty products from Barista Bath and Body for just $20.

In Detroit you can get $60 worth of organic skin-care products and cosmetics from Pure SKN for just $30.

In St. Louis you can get $55 worth of prints, posters, framed decorative art, and more for just $25 from Barewalls.com.  Groupon can be used towards shipping.

In Chicago you can get $25 worth of nuts, dried fruit and more from the Nutty Guys for just $10.

In North Jersey you can get $50 worth of cigars and more from Stogie Boys for just $25.

In Memphis you can get $25 worth of custom nutrition bars, shakes, trail mix and more for just $12 from You Bar.

In Washington D.C. you can get $35 worth of gourmet coffees, teas and gifts from Joe’s Coffee House for just $15.

In Austin you can get a wrist watch, extra band and shipping from TIKKRwatch for just $45.

In Long Island you can get a six-pack assortment of caramel apples from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory for just $30. You must phone or email the Atlantic City, NJ store and the Groupon includes East Coast shipping only.

View all of these offers and more here.

Please note that you can purchase deals in any city. Just be sure to read the fine print to see if the in-store Groupons are limited to a specific store. Online deals tend to be available all over the country – for example, you can buy The Nutty Guys Groupon in any city and use it for yourself because it is for their website. Leave a comment if you have any questions and I’ll do my best to help!

It’s Mega Swag Bucks Day!

Posted: 17 Dec 2010 06:37 AM PST

Today is Friday which means it is Mega Swag Bucks Day! That means Swag Bucks is giving away upwards of 400,000 Swag Bucks today – and you can earn anywhere from 30-1000 for one search.

What are Swag Bucks, exactly? They are electronic bucks that you earn for searching the web – something that most of us do every day right? You can then redeem these for items such as Amazon.com gift cards, Starbucks gift cards, Southwest Airlines credits plus more. Further increase your chances of earning bucks by referring friends, using the Swag Bucks toolbar, following the Swag Bucks Twitter stream, and reading the Swag Bucks Facebook page and blog.

I have been using Swag Bucks for awhile now, and I love them! My favorite items to save for are Amazon and Starbucks gift cards, and Southwest Airline vouchers.

If you aren’t already using Swag Bucks, learn more and sign up here.
