The trail leads visitors towards key geologic concepts that can be read in the rocks of the canyon and serves to help people contemplate and more fully appreciate the enormity of geology and the larger meaning of geologic thought….

Saudi Arabia Oil and Gas Production Report

Saudi Arabia has approximately one-fifth of the world’s proven oil reserves and is the largest oil producer and exporter of total petroleum liquids in the world. The country maintains the world's largest crude oil production capacity, estimated by EIA at over 12 million bbl/d at end-2010. Archaeologists have found ancient tools on the island of Crete that date back to at least 130,000 years ago. If they are correct, these tools are evidence of the earliest-known sea travel.
