Real Estate Apps Assist, but an Agent Makes the Difference

While nothing can beat actually visiting prospective neighborhoods and walking through the house you want to buy, there are lots of high-tech tools to assist you in narrowing down the places you want to visit. This can be especially helpful if you have to relocate to a new area. Real estate agents include photos on their websites and some also have slideshows to give you several interior and/or exterior views. And now that we do not just use out computers at home, but now have cell phones that function as portable mini-computers, you can also use your phone to gather information as well.

If you have an IPhone, you can use the free app Classifieds2Go to search for houses that are for sale and the Trulia Real Estate Search lets you view listings and look at a slideshow of results. NearBuy also has a real estate app for the iPhone that can show you listings, but its Neighborhood Statistics function was removed because it didn’t have sufficient information.

Things like program malfunctions, lack of information or infrequent updates are reasons why no matter how great an app may be, you will still want To work with a top Maryland real estate agent like John Day. Check out John’s Report Card and there you will see a testimonial from a woman who needed to relocate to Maryland for work.  He would be happy to help you find Maryland real estate that suits you.
