Football World Cup 2010: Foul Play By South Africa World Cup Ticket Firm
A ticket firm based in Brighton had been offering packages for the Football World Cup to be held in South Africa.
The packages are priced between 1,750 pounds to 3,800 pounds. They included not only the tickets but also accommodation charges.
However the Sussex Police have received complaints from ticket buyers that this same firm is now proclaiming that they are unable to supply the tickets.
In other words the firm seems to have collapsed.Named BYT UK, this ticket firm is an internet based company which has been selling lucrative packages to people.
The last minute declaration of collapse doesn't sound very convincing. Hence a probe has been ordered into the matter
