Former Madhya Pradesh Revenue Minister and BJP MLA Kamal Patel has been arrested by CBI at Bhopal for allegedly destroying evidence related to a murder case in which his son's name figured.
Patel, an MLA from Harda constituency, was questioned by CBI after which he was arrested last night..He will be produced in the CBI court at Indore where he will file his bail application.
On March 5, 2008, Patel's son Sudeep had gone with his friends to a farm house belonging to Congress leader Rajendra Patel at Deotalao where an altercation took place leaving one Durgesh Jaat dead. Sudeep was later arrested and released on bail.
