Charlie Monteith Joins White & Case in London Posted: 17 Jan 2011 11:24 AM PST Charlie Monteith has joined law firm White & Case LLP as counsel in its London office. The firm announced today that Monteith will join its White Collar Practice, helping to expand its transnational white collar and business enforcement capabilities. Monteith previously served for four years as a senior official in the UK Serious Fraud Office. As the Head of Assurance at the SFO, Charlie has been a leading policy advisor and was one of the key experts involved in the drafting of the UK’s new Bribery Act. Robert Amaee Joining Covington & Burling in London Posted: 17 Jan 2011 08:57 AM PST Robert Amaee is joining law firm Covington & Burling LLP as Of Counsel in its London office. The firm announced today that Amaee will practice in its white collar defense and investigations practice group, focusing on anti-corruption and anti-money laundering matters. Amaee joins Covington from the UK’s Serious Fraud Office, where he was responsible for the investigation and prosecution of bribery and money laundering cases and for the agency's policies in the anti-bribery/anti-money laundering areas.
