Nokia to shut down Ovi Music Unlimited Posted: 17 Jan 2011 02:48 PM PST Nokia has announced it will be shutting down the Ovi Music Unlimited service in 27 countries as the product hasn’t gained the interest Nokia would like. The Ovi Music Unlimited service provides free music downloads which are locked to your Nokia handset/device. The service will still stay live in the following countries: Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Turkey and South Africa. Nokia will continue to run the Ovi Music Store whereby users can download DRM-free (Digital Rights Management) music tracks – which means the music is not locked to that specific device. © admin for Social Media News, 2011. | Permalink | No comment | Add to del.icio.us |
