| Child-Computer Interaction (CCI) Posted: 16 Dec 2010 05:31 AM PST HCI is a venerable area of computer study but often when "humans" and "computers" are being discussed in interaction with one another, the implicit interface is the adult. This conference reconceives HCI for children, quite overtly. Think about what kinds of interfaces kids want, what the computer would look like if it weren't simply insuring its legacy heritage--from the typewriter and the television--but could be reimagined by children, for children. |
