Hello Everyone,

I just came accross this great opportunity for our students, but you must hurry because the deadline is only days away on January 7, 2011.

The Youth Leadership Miami (YLM) Conference is a FREE program targeted to high school students who are in good standing scholastically and attend public schools located in Miami-Dade County. YLM is a two-day conference taking place on January 21-22 at the University of Miami. Students will develop their interpersonal skills while working together to solve structured problems in a team setting.

Both days consist of a unique series of activities focused on leadership, personal development and team building with community leaders, government officials and prominent business executives who will share their leadership skills and views on our community. Participating seniors will have the opportunity to win $1,000 scholarship from the South Florida Progress Foundation.
