Eversave: $5 Credit for new Subscribers thru 12/31/10 Posted: 23 Dec 2010 07:38 AM PST If you love daily deals sites as much as I do, make sure that you check out Eversave. Now through 12/31/10, get a $5 credit just for signing up for their Daily Deals emails! Also, if you have made an Eversave purchase in the last year, be sure to check your accounts for a $10 holiday credit! I’m not sure if new sign ups will receive this credit or not, but it might be worth signing up to see. Eversave works very similarly to Groupon in that the online deals are technically “national” even if you don’t live in the city that the deal is being offered in. I am actually waiting for a Christmas flower bouquet to be delivered today…a deal that I scored on Eversave. :-) Eversave: $5 Credit for new Subscribers thru 12/31/10 is a post from: Stretching a Buck ©2010 Stretching a Buck Media, LLC. Giveaway: Seventh Generation Laundry Products + a $1/1 Coupon Posted: 22 Dec 2010 08:26 PM PST As someone who has extremely sensitive skin, I was interested to learn that some laundry detergents contain little-known chemicals called optical brighteners – which, according to scientific research, can cause allergic reactions, are toxic to small fish and other aquatic life, and can pollute waterways. When ultraviolet light hits optical brighteners coating your clothing, the brighteners convert UV rays into visible light to create an optical illusion. This tricks the eye into thinking the clothing is whiter and brighter, and therefore cleaner than it really is. I have used “free & clear” laundry detergent for years and always assumed it was free of anything harsh, so when I was asked to conduct an experiment washing an organic cotton shirt in my detergent, and then in Seventh Generation detergent, I gladly accepted. And while I wasn’t able to figure out how to operate my camera in the dark, I was surprised to see that the shirt washed in the “free & clear” detergent that I typically used glowed all over, while the shirt washed in Seventh Generation detergent only glowed in spots (where fuzz – likely from other clothing previously washed in my regular detergent) was found. Seventh Generation laundry detergents are both free of these optical brighteners AND they are non-toxic. If avoiding harsh chemicals is important to you (as it is to me), you’ll be happy to know that Seventh Generation products are both hypo-allergenic and biodegradable as well. I always keep an eye out for Seventh Generation product coupons and sales, and purchase both their laundry and cleaning products whenever I find a great deal. I am excited to be able to offer 1 set of Seventh Generation Laundry products to one of you to try for yourself! All of you can print a $1/1 Seventh Generation Laundry Product coupon here. What am I giving away?1 Winner will receive a set of Seventh Generation Laundry Products How can you win?You can enter up to 4 times: 1) Leave a comment letting me know if you have used Seventh Generation Laundry products before.
