December 29 Webcast–2010 Year in Review: Securities Enforcement, Litigation & Compliance

2010 has been a momentous year for securities enforcement, litigation and compliance issues–and there are still a few days left in 2010 for more crazy stuff to happen!

On December 29, 2010, Securities Docket will host its annual “Year in Review” webcast featuring many of the leading bloggers and commentators in the field. SEC Names Stephen Cohen Associate Director in Enforcement Division

The SEC has appointed Stephen L. Cohen as an Associate Director of the Division of Enforcement. Cohen fills the Associate Director position previously held by Christopher Conte, who left the agency in September.

Cohen joined the SEC as an Assistant Chief Litigation Counsel in the Division of Enforcement in 2004. He has spent the past two years as Senior Advisor to SEC Chairman Mary Schapiro. Previously, Cohen was an associate with law firm Boies, Schiller & Flexner in Washington, D.C.
